Switchline Live™ ("Switchline," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected or processed when you use the Switchline mobile application and website at www.switchlinelive.com.
1. Information We Collect
Switchline is designed to allow users to create and participate in live video productions without requiring a traditional user account.
Information You Provide
Switchline does not currently require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, phone number, password, or physical address to use the application.
Camera and Microphone
When you use Switchline's live production features, the application may request access to your device's camera and microphone.
Camera and microphone data is used to provide live audio and video to your production session.
Switchline does not access your camera or microphone when those features are not being used.
Live Video and Audio
When you participate in a Switchline production, video and audio may be transmitted through Switchline's real-time communications infrastructure to other authorized participants in the production.
Switchline does not automatically record or permanently store your live production video or audio on Switchline's servers.
Recordings
If you choose to use a recording feature, the recording is created and stored on your device.
Switchline does not upload or store those recordings on Switchline's servers unless a future feature explicitly states otherwise.
2. Technical Information
When you use Switchline, certain technical information may be processed as part of providing, securing, and troubleshooting the service.
This may include:
IP address
Device and network connection information
Connection and session information
Randomly generated participant identifiers
Randomly generated production or session identifiers
Technical information necessary to establish and maintain real-time connections
Switchline does not intentionally use these identifiers to identify you personally.
Switchline uses third-party infrastructure to facilitate real-time communications. Technical identifiers such as participant and session identifiers may be processed by those providers as necessary to provide the service.
3. How We Use Information
Information processed by Switchline and its service providers may be used to:
Provide live video and audio functionality
Establish and maintain production sessions
Authenticate authorized participants
Maintain the security of the service
Detect and prevent unauthorized access or abuse
Troubleshoot technical problems
Maintain and improve the reliability of Switchline
Process subscriptions and purchases through Apple's App Store
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising.
We do not use Switchline data for cross-app advertising or tracking.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
Switchline relies on third-party infrastructure providers to operate portions of the service.
LiveKit
Switchline uses LiveKit to provide real-time video, audio, and data communications.
LiveKit may process technical information necessary to establish and operate real-time sessions, including participant identifiers, room or session identifiers, connection information, and network information.
Cloudflare
Switchline uses Cloudflare for web and server infrastructure, including infrastructure used to provide temporary access credentials for Switchline's real-time communications service.
Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses, request information, and other information associated with requests to Switchline's infrastructure.
Cloudflare may also retain limited technical logs for operational, security, and troubleshooting purposes.
Apple
Subscriptions and purchases made through the Switchline iOS application are processed through Apple's App Store and Apple's payment systems.
Switchline does not receive or store your full credit card or other payment-card information.
Apple may provide Switchline with information necessary to determine whether a subscription or purchase is valid.
5. Information We Do Not Collect
Under the current version of Switchline, we do not:
Require a user account
Require your name
Require your email address
Require your phone number
Collect precise GPS location
Automatically record your live productions
Store live production recordings on Switchline servers
Upload recordings created using the local recording feature
Use advertising trackers
Sell personal information
Use personal information for targeted advertising
Operate a general messaging or social-networking system
6. Data Retention
Switchline does not currently maintain a permanent user profile or traditional user account database.
Temporary technical information may exist as part of operating and securing the service or within the logs of our infrastructure providers.
Retention periods may vary depending on the service provider and the type of technical information involved.
Local recordings remain on the user's device and are controlled by the user and the operating system.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through Switchline.
Access credentials used to connect participants to production sessions are intended to be temporary and limited to the permissions necessary for the session.
Because Switchline relies on internet-based services and third-party infrastructure, no system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
Switchline is not directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to Switchline, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information associated with you, including rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information.
Because Switchline currently does not require user accounts and generally does not maintain user profiles containing names or email addresses, our ability to associate technical information with a particular individual may be limited.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Switchline's features and services change.
When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.
